Deputy Store Manager
Cenu Cacao is a small and innovative family run business that imports cacao
beans and process to make artisan chocolate and truffles in England. We are
one of the handful of chocolate makers in England, and customers can watch
us roast, grind and make our chocolates in the shop.
We have an opportunity for a talented Deputy Manager to join the team at our
Chocolate/coffee shop in Cambridge. 
As the brand ambassador, you will be responsible for the efficient and
effective day to day running the store.
You will ensure the store is opened and closed, adhering to all Cenu
standards, policies & procedures.
Ensure your team are providing exceptional and complete customer
satisfaction.
Completing all relevant Cenu checks, standards, food & health, and safety
checks and highlighting to the manager when things need to be rectified.
The shop is in a busy area of Cambridge, making the shop to be very hands-
on and busy.
Ensure that accurate cashing up and cleaning procedures are carried out at
close of business.
Communicate clearly with all employees to ensure effective store operations.
Undertake regular strategic and operational meetings to identify new
opportunities, developmental issues, and plans.
Your responsibilities include coaching the team, dealing with any HR issues
that may arise and will oversee the stock and cash control.
We are looking for that individuals that ideally have a proven track record of
delivering profitable sales success within a retail food environment, ideally
running a successful chocolate/cafe related operation would be essential.
We are open to see individuals that have a demonstrable customer service
experience in other fields especially in retail.
Ideally, we would like the applicants with working experience in the mentoring
and development of staff, pride themselves in high achievements and
understanding of profit protection, labour management and general business
growth.
Excellent interpersonal capability and effective communication is essential.
